The Lake Hotel is located on the lakeshore and is 2km outside of Killarney town. The hotel is just off the N71 to Muckross House and Molls Gap. Our GPS co-ordinates are 52.0383955 and -9.4992685.
From Cork
Take the N22 to Killarney. On reaching Killarney follow signs for Muckross Road N71, the hotel is on the right hand side approximately 2km from Killarney town centre.
From Kerry Airport
Take the N22 towards Killarney and follow signs for the Muckross Road – N71, the hotel is on the right hand side of the road approximately 2km from the town centre.
From Shannon Airport
Take the N18 to Limerick, take the N21 to Castleisland, then take the N22 to Killarney and follow the signs for the Muckross Road N71 as above.
By Train
Killarney Train Station is located in the town centre, there are several trains daily from Dublin. Train timetables are available at www.irishrail.ie. We can arrange taxi’s from the station for our guests.
By Bus
Killarney Bus Station is located in the town centre alongside the train station, there are several buses daily from Cork, Limerick, Dublin and more. For full information on all bus services go to www.buseireann.ie . We can arrange taxis from the bus station for our guests.

Electric Car Charging Ports
At The Lake Hotel we are committed to reducing the carbon footprint left on our natural surroundings. We are constantly looking at ways to protect the environment. As part of this ongoing commitment, in 2018 we installed 4 electric car charging ports in our hotel car park. Electric car charging is available for guests use and is complimentary as part of an overnight stay at the hotel.
