Panoramic windows allow for spectacular lakeside views. Deer printed carpet, plush blinds and curtains, eye catching cream wooden pillars and, the installation of a new breakfast buffet area are just some of the enhancements. Warm and serene tones used throughout ensure an inviting and relaxing ambience for guests.
From foraged herbs to the very best game, the Castlelough Restaurant team led by award-winning head chef Noel Enright, use years of diverse experience and skills combined with the very best seasonal produce from local suppliers to create an unforgettable dining experience.
Choose from either a two or three course dining experience accompanied by amuse bouche, homemade breads, tea and coffee and petit fours.
Award-winning Chefs
Our award-winning Castlelough Restaurant has received many accolades over the years. Head Chef Noel Enright has won the prestigious title of Ireland's Best Chef twice once in the 2019 and again in 2022 by the Irish Hotel Awards. Most recently in 2024 Noel was awarded best Head Chef in Munster and the Castlelough Restaurant won the Best Fine dining experience in Munster by the Irish Hotel Awards while Tamara Jelača received the prestigious Munster's Young Chef of the Year at the YesChef awards.

The Castlelough Restaurant is open daily for breakfast from 8 am to 10.30 am (7.30am-10.30am in high season) and from 6pm-9pm for dinner service.
There are vegan and vegetarian options available and other dietary requirements can also be catered for (advanced notice is helpful).
